My Laptop screen broke during my college semester and John made sure I didn't miss a beat. He got me a better price for a factory screen than others I'd spoken to and came out to me to repair it. I have an HP envy DV6 laptop with extensive outter body damage. The hinges were coming loose causing the laptops outter shell to split open and further more creating a problems with a vertical line on the screen. Johnathan, was polite at all times upon meeting him over the phone as well as in person, he answered all my questions and did away with any doubts I may have had immediately. John diagnosed three non-working mac laptops (3-4 years old) each) for us. Unfortunately, it was not cost-effective to fix them but John was able to retrieve our data which was a god-send. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Introdue my self and ask them a few questions about the problem. Sometimes even may ask for photos. Then I go on tell them the process and the cost involved and give them the options on how they may want to handle it. Once that's been chosen I tell them once I have the parts I will do a 24 to 48 hour turn around. More than likely less than 24 hours unless something unforeseen happens. But in generally on it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a computer servicing certificate from gateway community college and I'm now pursuing my comptia a+.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with a range of customers from the daily home user to local businesses. If I quote in on the job. I know with out a doubt I can get it done!
