I honestly can’t say enough good things about Joel. From the very beginning, he stood out from other contractors I’ve worked with. When he came to look at the job, he was extremely thorough. He took measurements, carefully inspected the different rooms and work areas, and made sure he fully understood what I wanted before starting. His proposal was incredibly detailed and gave me a lot of confidence that everything I asked for would be addressed.
Once the work began, Joel put in 12-hour days of constant, dedicated work to get the project completed as efficiently as possible. The quality of his work was professional from start to finish, but what impressed me just as much was his communication. At the end of every day, he would explain exactly what he accomplished and what the next steps would be. He would even go home after a long day and send me design ideas and suggestions for ways he thought certain rooms or setups could look better. That level of care really says a lot about the kind of person he is.
Joel also went far beyond the original painting and spackling work. My house is older, and there were plenty of odds and ends that needed attention. Joel was able to handle plumbing, electrical work, painting, compounding, carpentry, and more. Having someone who is proficient in so many different trades is incredibly valuable.
Most importantly, Joel is honest and genuinely looks out for his customers. I was very conscious of my budget because, as anyone who owns a house knows, all of these little projects can add up quickly. I never felt like Joel was trying to upsell me, overcharge me, or take advantage of the situation. He was transparent about pricing and always focused on what made the most sense for me and my house.
It’s very rare to find a contractor you can completely trust. Joel is not only extremely skilled and professional, but he is also kind, humble, patient, smart, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. He never cuts corners, never makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing him, and always seems to have your best interests in mind.
I will absolutely be recommending Joel to anyone who needs work done around their home. Finding someone who can handle so many different types of work while also being honest, hardworking, caring, and trustworthy is rare these days. I’m extremely happy with everything he did and would hire him again without hesitation.

Joel was professional and knows his work. He explained what needed to be done regarding the repair/replacement of my stormdoor handle & latch. He provided choices and cost of item before performing the job. Joel provided best customer service and I would recommend him. I have him returning to do some other projects in my home.

Joel was an absolute lifesaver. I was moving my daughter into college. I hired Joel to help me move in some boxes, but mainly put together the furniture for her dorm. He didn't absolutely amazing job putting together my IKEA furniture, which I did not want to spend the time trying to build these three pieces of furniture. He was very professional, very clean. He was on time, and I can't say enough of what a great guy he was just as a person and the way that he handles himself professionally. He made what was to be a very stressful day a lot less stressful. I will absolutely recommend and use him again.
