FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been an athlete all my life. My father was a military instructor, so body weight exercises have been a form of discipline since before I can remember. I started in combat sports when I was 10 with weightlifting and bodybuilding. Then, when I went to highschool I joined the wrestling team and wrestled all 3 styles: Greco-roman (olympic), Freestyle (olympic), and Folkstyle (high school). After graduating highschool I started training in Kyokushin karate with the legendary Kaicho Farzinzad. I earned my blackbelt and right to teach after completing a 10 man kumite (a fight with no gloves and full force).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers of all ages, ethnicities, levels and handicaps.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that your trainer is certified and knows what they are doing -- Athletics can cause undue stress on your joints and ligaments, that lead to injury. Knowing how to avoid immediate damages can come from trial and error, but learning how to avoid damages from years of improper movement patterns can only come from proper training.
