Introduction: When it comes to weddings and events I think my ability to always stay calm and focused is my strength. There are many good photographers but these kinds of jobs have their own special challenges. There is usually very tight time restraints and schedules that don't go as planned. I am always ready to get my job done in any situation. Being able to work with people and be a part of a very important event in their lives. And being able to capture these moments for them. These are photos and videos that will be cherished forever and that makes my job very rewarding.

When we were planning our wedding, we made the wise decision of hiring Gary Bendas as our photographer. What, initially, attracted us to Gary (among the many photographer services we looked at) was his reasonable wedding package rates and his personable, accommodating, and detailed customer service. However, our decision really proved itself after our wedding, upon viewing our photo album and then receiving our beautiful wedding album. We, actually, loved the photography so much that we continued to call Gary for more prints. We recently ordered a new portrait for our last wedding anniversary. A few words of thanks for your professional photography skills as well as the patience and kindness to our family on the wedding day of our daughter. When we were married I found my photographer to be quite annoying with posed shots. I did not however find that with you. It was quite a long day and you were there very patiently doing your job. Most of the time I didn't notice you there but the photos tell a different story late into the night. I was particularly impressed with the Church photos, moments that cannot be recaptured and most are not posed. Thank you for a great and reasonable service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always very straight forward with no surprises. Usually for any events or weddings all the full resolution digital files will be included.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been into photography. I studied photography in College. But to get into wedding and event photography I was trained by a large photo studio in Westchester County over 25 years ago. As students we had classes and would go out on jobs with the experienced photographers. I assisted on at least 20-25 jobs before I shot my own wedding. It was a very thorough training. And of course over the years I have evolved with the changing technology and continue to study and learn.
