- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend or give frequent training on the most up to date developments in writing, editing, media, book publishing, and education. Within recent months, I've attended a major national conference of writing and editing professionals, an all day software training conference, a weeklong workshop with a famed writer, masters level university courses, and more. I am a frequent trainer and teacher, and leader/moderator in online and in-person writing communities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wrote and edited within a profession, and my first clients hired me based on their experience working with me. About half of my clients hired me based on having observed my success on another project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Ghostwriting and editing for professionals and small businesses. Developmental and line editing for fiction writers. Varied writing & project management for creative professionals. Writing, editing, marketing & project management for corporation/government. Teaching and public speaking to K-12, post-graduate, and professionals.
