FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100 per person. This includes all makeup supplies for the event, and consultation. It also includes my traveling fee. If a bride wants me to do her wedding party of five girls or more, the bride gets her makeup done for free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always try to keep myself on top of my game. Makeup techniques and looks change all of the time, and I want my client to have the best experience possible. I do take classes every year to see what is new, and what is better.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved makeup. From playing with my mother's makeup as a small child, to gawking at celebrities attending the Emmy and Grammy award shows as a teenager, it has always been my passion. I have never been afraid to try new makeup brands or looks, and I have always gotten attention for it. In high school other girls were always asking me for advice, as well as asking me to do their makeup for proms and homecomings. I grew up listening to my parents tell me to do what I love, and it's makeup.
