Harry was awesome! We had what I thought was a leaky pipe in the basement but turned out to be a leak higher up behind the actual shower head. We were worried about needing to remove tiles or cutting into the sheetrock on the other side, but Harry did everything he could to avoid that, and was actually able to take care of the issue without any mess. Three things stood out to me in my experience with Harry which make me happy to recommend him to others: 1.Harry couldn't come out the day I made the thumbtack request but he helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone and via text. Never had anyone offer that before. 2. Harry is super nice. Friendly, upbeat, extremely personable. I generally don't like people so that's saying a lot! 3. His rates are reasonable and he charged for the exact amount of time he was here. No rounding up an extra hour, no funny $20 charges for a $2 part. I'm pretty frugal (or cheap if you ask my wife) so I appreciated that. Very glad I called him. Will not hesitate to call him for future jobs when needed.
My remodeling project is still a work in progress. Brian is providing quality workmanship, has left the work area immaculate at the end of the day, and has kept me updated and involved every step of the way with our project by providing me pictures and prices of hardware, tiles, vanities etc. which is extremely helpful to me due to my work schedule and just not finding time to shop around! It is a pleasure working with a contractor who understands our budget, and is enthusiastic in accomplishing an updated, modern, and fresh look for this older bathroom. Thanks Brian!
I hired Rome to finish my kitchen for me as I'm redoing it myself. It took him a very short period of time to make everything on the walls look perfect! He also helped me choose the colors on the walls to compliment the granite and the kitchen cabinets. I cannot wait to see the final product. I was so impressed with his work, his attention to detail, he has a loyal customer for life and I'll be referring him to everyone I know. Great talent, affordable pricing and amazing work! He will be taking care of my entire house after this project is complete! Love his work!!!!!
JCEC contractors (http://www.jcecpainting.com/about.html) and painting company do more than just paint a room they actually transform a room. My wife has been watching all of the DIY shows on television and came up with an idea on changes she wanted to make to the kitchen. From her idea to completion, the transformation was amazing. We did not have to contract out to many different sub-contractors the team at JCEC did it all including electrical, tile work, woodwork and yes painting. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone who can do it all and at a good price.
We are EXTREMELY pleased with the work Boscarino Custom Tile And Painting did in our home! Anthony was knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and professional. He completely understood the scope of work upon my request and to my pleasure, quoted and scheduled the job accordingly. He asked a lot of questions as to my preference with the install and offered professional advice when decisions seem to elude me. He dealt expertly with the challenge of my tiny bathroom with wonky, non plumb walls, and my existing 1950's wall tile, (cutting material out in a soaking thunderstorm to boot!) Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Boscarino Custom Tile And Painting! I'd contract with Anthony in a heart beat again!
Alby does amazing work! He completed a gorgeous paver stone patio for me, complete with a propane fire pit. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgable during my first meeting with him. Throughout the entire process, Alby effectively communicated regularly. He worked incredibly hard during some extremely hot and humid days. He encouraged me to ask questions and spent plenty of time with me each day to update the progress. Alby is incredibly dedicated, detailed, and knowledgable about all things related to patios and landscaping. I'm extremely pleased and impressed with his work, as are friends and family that have seen his work. I will definitely be having Alby back for future projects. Highly recommended!
He did an excellent job on our bathroom installing porcelain tiles. He showed up on time, got right to work & cleaned up after himself every day. I already have more worked lined up for him as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have tile work done.
I cannot say enough about Allan. First off he is just a genuinely nice person. He came out quick gave a reasonable estimate and started the job (stone patio) sooner that he originally stated. The job was originally supposed to take one day but he needed to come back to finish up. The initial day he showed up early and left late. Cleaned the work site. Next morning he showed up again early exactly the time he said he would and finished the job as promised, leaving a clean work site.Very professional, hard working, prompt , courteous, fair, reasonable, knowledgeable, and a true craftsman. That's about sums it up. I'll definitely be using his services again and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
They did a great job installing the tile. Very professional, clean and I would hire them again. If you are looking for great workmanship I would recommend Ceramic Soul.
Gerry's work speaks for itself. We are thrilled with the tile work he did and would definitely hire him again.
Dan, and crew were great! Right on time with quote, showing up, their workmanship was wonderful. They tiled 2 bathrooms beautifully, cleaned and grouted a shower stall and painted bathroom cabinets. Could not have asked for nicer guys to work with. Always wanted to please and make everything perfect.
Andrew was professional from the very beginning and gave more than reasonable prices for the quality work he helped me with. When he originally came into my kitchen I had a floor full of thin set and he helped me transform that into a kitchen with a beautiful granite tile floor and cabinets that were adjusted for the fact that the level of my floor was raised. Now my kitchen is ready for granite countertops. If you want a good priced contractor who will take the time to do quality work this is your guy
Nick Davis updated my bathroom by completely tearing out several layers of old tile and installing new floor tile, he also removed sheet rock in tub and replaced with a durable sheet rock that is specifically made for tub and shower area. He also put new wall tile in tub area, installed new vanity, replaced baseboard molding, door molding and window molding. He reinstalled all fixtures and also installed a new bathroom light. I am beyond satisfied with Nicks work! His attention to detail was awesome. He listened to the vision I had for my bathroom and he was able to deliver everything that I wanted done! He was courteous, always communicated his arrival time to start work, very neat and leaves his work area clean, trust worthy, very professional and absolutely skilled at what he does! I am more than pleased with his work and have already recommended him to people who are looking to have similar work done. If you are looking for someone to do 1st class quality work then Nick is who you want. You won't be disappointed with his work. Thank you again you really delivered. I could not have asked for more.. I love my new bathroom!
Mark did my kitchen remodel which included new cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, and tile flooring. We gave Mark a must have start and end date and he finished early. He worked in a clean, safe, and professional manner. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled carpenter in all phases of home improvement.
Had backsplash installed and Roland did great work with difficult tile and wall.
When I contacted Square Feet Contracting, my contractor of 8 years had just walked out on me leaving my old kitchen floor ripped and the sub-floor only partially redone. This was the weekend before Thanksgiving and the kitchen installers were coming to install the kitchen at the end of the week after. This means that we had about a week (Thanksgiving included) to finish preparing the sub-floor, tiling, and grouting before installing the kitchen cabinets and appliances. I contacted Square Feet Contracting over the weekend and Paolo was at my house on Monday morning. He saw the project, took his measurements, and gave me a quote and a contract on the spot. Being that he could get started on it pretty much immediately, I signed right away. Paolo came with his co-worker Roberto always on time and in good spirits. This was a complicated tiling job because of the amount of obstacles, corners, closets, laundry closet, and little nooks that required a lot of patience and tile cutting. On top of this, part of the kitchen was an addition done many years ago and the floor wasn't exactly level. Paolo suggested changing the pattern of the tile in that part of the kitchen and that turned out to be an excellent suggestion. Not only was the unleveled floor issue solved, but the change of pattern looked aesthetically beautiful. He also suggested that we use the same tile to add a baseboard (battiscopa, as Paolo would say in Italian), and that was another excellent idea. Our floor looks incredibly beautiful. I definitely deserve some credit for picking such a gorgeous tile (lol), but Paolo and his crew truly did an amazing job in a timely manner (not rushing, but never stopping) and for a reasonable price. Since then he has also done my foyer. There are just two steps that go from the foyer to the house and the way he blended the kitchen tile on the horizontal part of the steps and the foyer tile on the vertical part of the steps is really remarkable. Paolo takes pride on his work and that shines through in the final result. I have so much respect for that. Now I want him to do my back-splash (as soon as kitchen counter-tops are installed), and then we'll move onto the two bathrooms. I give Square Feet Contracting five big fat stars without hesitation and I strongly recommend them to everyone.
I have an 80's condo that needs a full remodel and wasn't sure where to start. Mark was recommended to me by a coworker. He came in, looked the place over, discussed my must haves and my wish list and gave me an estimate on the first project. Starting on the main level he removed a partition wall to open my kitchen. Then he removed the popcorn finish on my cathedral ceiling, refinished and painted it. I was very happy with the results so I had him continue with my list. I work a lot so I gave him a key. He comes and goes as he needs to and I have no worries. He installed my bamboo floors on a diagional because it's the design I wanted. When I couldn't get trim to match he took flooring to his shop and made custom transitions and thresholds. He installed a tile entry with more custom trim. He built an island where the wall had been to hold my new sink and dishwasher which included relocating the plumbing, electrical and all new outlets. He even made "countertops" out of cardboard so I could see exactly how it would all fit in the room and where to locate the faucet. Through all of this he has been easygoing and helpful with the many decisions I needed to make. He also had no problem with me doing what I can-painting and cabinets to keep costs down and working with the tradesmen I brought in to do code work. I have recommended him to friends and family one of whom thanked me for sending her "a guy who is so honest" when he told her it would be cheaper for her to replace a damaged ceiling than to have him patch it up. Next will be new floors, more popcorn removal, ceiling fixtures and new tile in the bathroom upstairs and Mark will be doing all of it. This is not my first reno but it is as easier than any of the others. I will post pictures shortly so you can see why I'm so happy.
They were precise, on time and dependable and did a great job. They were professional and flexible to my schedule which had to change slightly. We plan on using them again in the future for additional tile installations. E.S. Glastonbury, CT
Installed kitchen cabinets, light fixture (ceiling fan w/light), painted kitchen, installed faucet, hooked up ice machine for refrigerator, & installed ceramic tile floor. Excellent work, professional, clean and punctual. Very happy and pleased with overall job. Highly recommend.
Chris was a pleasure to work with. He built us a custom cabinet for the laundry room, installed beadboard in the bathroom and turned an old dresser into a sink console. He was so helpful throughout the process by recommending resources for everything I was looking for. He was right there with me during the struggle of trying to find the right size, shape, style sink for the dresser. His work was high quality; he was always on time; and did what he said he'd do. We will definitely hire him again for any future needs.
Jerry Davis and his crew installed a tile floor in my kitchen for me in Glastonbury Ct. They set the tile on a 45 degree angle which came out beautiful. Everything was completed in the span of a few days as promised. My house was left clean. It was truly a pleasure to have them work for me. I would recommend their services to anyone and plan on using them for future projects.
