Introduction: Lincoln flower shop has been located in New Haven for over 100 years. I have owned and operated Lincoln for the last 22 years. We are a full-service florist located in the historic neighborhood of Wooster Square. We are within blocks of Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale University, Albertus Magnus College, St. Raphael's Hospital, three major funeral homes, and within two blocks of downtown New Haven. We have a physical shop located in New Haven. We are not a wire service where you are going to lose your money in flowers paying fees to these services! We are well known for our funeral work, as well as weddings and any other occasion you may need flowers for.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We are a full service actual florist located with a shop in New Haven. We do any events that need flowers either for the tables, bouquets, corsages, arrangements etc. We are known for our funeral work and weddings. We deliver daily throughout New Haven and surrounding towns. We have fresh wrapped bouquets for our walk in customers as well as fresh made to order arrangements.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always, Always find a local florist! I can't emphasize this enough because I get so many calls where customers say they paid a lot of money for a small flower arrangement because they called one of those online florists! You pay fees to them because they are not a florist, they are a wire service who takes a fee for taking the call they in turn call someone else. You are using a middle man to do the work you could have done yourself and get the full value in your flowers! If you go onto a site like flowershopnetwork.com they have a list of REAL florists like myself who don't take relay fees, phone fees etc..... If you have a computer look for a business that shows you their physical location. Google earth it to see if there really is a physical location. Shopping local is better for everyone all around!
