FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use a gentle approach: if your pup does not like something done, I simply will not do it. It is not worth stressing the pup out, this can lead to aggressive behavior, which is a lot harder to correct. When I give you pricing, I will initially give you a range, and I will always stick to that range. I do not believe in "up charges" or "package deals," all pups are given the same, in my opinion, basic services: ears and teethe cleaned, anal glands expressed, bath (products used will be determined by coat and skin needs), full dry, brush out, oil massage, paw pads cleaned up and trimming if and wherever may be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the customer during the initial consultation, getting to know your dog through you helps me better work with your dog. I like to get to know what the dog's days are like, are their any pains, etc, so that I may accommodate a grooming session that fits your pup's and your needs and life style.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a grooming Certification through ABC (Animal Behavioral College). I also have a bather/brusher Certification from Groom Expo, Hershey, PA. I also have an English degree from Southern Connecticut State University. I plan on taking more classes and certification courses for grooming in the near and distant future so that I can give you and your pup better services. I have worked with animals my entire life, I have groomed all animals fro guinea pigs to horses.
