- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only figure how many man hours the job will take and how much material and help will cost me. Then figure an honest descent pay for my services. Sometimes i will eat a loss and some jobs we get done a little faster than scheduled. It ends up working out ok. No confusing separate fees!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to respond with the estimated quote quickly, then we can either schedule an appointment to look at the job or look at photos of some simpler jobs to give an exact quote. Then all we have to do is set a date to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been hands on pretty much since youth in different trades learning different things at different jobs through all the years.
