Their pricing is done completely on “how they feel” & not the scope of work. Please be aware of their unethical estimate/quote issue. They will mention a “price book” but you’ll NEVER get an specifics on what you are actually paying for. SEEK OTHER COMPANIES BEFORE CONSIDERING ZOOM DRAIN.

This is simply not true. We have a fixed menu price book for every service we offer. We do not charge by the hour or for parts individually. Every price includes all labor and parts. The price for the service you requested was $477.00. Our services are transparent and up front. We do not proceed with work unless you approve of the price first. We sent a plumber on a Sunday two hours round trip to give you an estimate and did not charge a service fee. We even agreed to provide service on another date, making the trip again, only charging for the service you requested. I hope that you will reconsider your position. Hi John. I appreciate you calling us to come out to your house to check on your issue. I'm sorry we were not able to get you issue taken care of. However, this was an insurance job and your insurance company refused to approve any money for our services. Zoom does not look to be paid upfront...only after work is complete. We are actually transparent with our pricing and give that to you before we begin. Unfortunately, in your case the insurance company did not approve our services. We give free estimates and we don't perform any work without your authorization.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will typically have a customer show us the area of concern, we will then check out the other drains in the vicinity to determine the appropriate solutions. We then show the pricing out of a menu price book before we start work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are very specialized in drains and have our own in-house training center for drain cleaning. We have weekly training sessions and mandatory safety training.
