Anytime you hire someone new there's always uncertainty about what you're actually going to get. Even when you do your homework. The customer reviews for Lou at Incision Network were convincing enough for me to give him a try. I'm so very happy I did. Lou came out to my home to assess an internet buffering problem I was having, primarily with my smart TVs. I'd given up on trying to get Optimum to fix the problem. Within a very short time, Lou focused in my the likely culprit -- my wireless router. But to be certain, he ran a comprehensive set of tests to check everything out. It was impressive. And I was getting a good technical education courtesy of Lou's thorough explanation of all of it. As it turned out, he was right. My existing router (Google Nest Mesh network) just wasn't up to the task of providing the wireless coverage and 'horsepower' needed to keep all of my wireless devices performing as they should. I thought this would require another service call for Lou to get a new router for me and get it installed. But lo and behold, it had it onboard and got the whole job done on a single visit! The new system was a bit pricey but definitely worth it. And Lou was extremely fair and generous with his time and professional fee. Now I'm getting about 250mbps on the output side of the new router and couldn't be happier. On top of it all, Lou is easy to work with, very knowledgeable, as patient as a Saint (answering all my questions), and extremely polite, respectful and courteous. Shop no further folks. Don't waste your time with Optimum techs (or their India call center). Lou is the guy to hire!

When it comes to working with Ken and his wonderful family, you could tell they are a family that relies heavily on the internet working from home and streaming movies after a long day. Ken is very interested to learn about technology and asks great questions that give me the opportunity to educate as I go about my work. Ken had used Google mesh to no avail, with the kitchen located nearly in the center of the home, this caused interference with WiFi as well as neighbors overlapping his channels. With the new equipment we were able to resolve all of those issues. Ken and his lovely family are no longer slowed down and are actually receiving almost the same speeds hardwired as they do wireless! 320/35 (they had Optimum 300 service) Thank you again Ken for your kind words! I can recommend Louis and Incision Network very highly! We have an old. ranch-style house and were never able to get Wifi to work successfully throughout, especially once the pandemic started and multiple people in the house were trying to do videoconferencing at the same time. We had tried multiple extender systems to fix the problem, including Netgear, Xfinity pods, and Google Nest, but none of them worked consistently. But Louis was able to assess the problems and fix them right away, demonstrating excellent knowledge of both modern mesh network wifi systems and the complexities of old houses. And out new system has worked perfectly since he installed it. And Louis couldn't have been nicer or more responsive. He's the first person I will turn to in the future if we have any more technology problems. Seriously, he's great!

Wiring Installation

Our project involved drilling through walls from an addition to the main building. Because the original construction was not up to code, it made for a very difficult and time consuming project. Louis was very patient, meticulous and diligent in working around all the obstacles and in the end not charging us for the many extra hours the work required. I highly recommend him for any IT projects you may be considering.
