I wish the people understood that you get what you pay for in this field. The cheaper the hourly rate, the more likely you will be doing all the legwork yourself, and editing, and advising, and strategizing. I think of business owners understood the true value of a good graphic designer who can both execute and advise, it would save them a lot of heart ache later on when they choose an overseas designer for $5/hour who literally does exactly as they are told.
