- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For packing, unpacking and organizing we charge a straightforward hourly rate: - $98/hour for two organizers on weekdays (2-hour minimum) - $118/hour on weekends or after 6pm - We don’t include material but are happy to buy them and show the bill. There are no hidden fees, and we don’t charge for travel within the city. We’re upfront about our time and billing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We keep things simple and centered around your needs. When our customers first reach out through Thumbtack, we’ll reply promptly with a brief message and then follow up with a phone call if it’s during business hours. That helps us understand your goals and timeline right away. To save you time, we request photos before the job—especially for packing projects—so we can better estimate how much material will be needed and avoid over- or under-preparing. We’ll also gather any other key details to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day of service. Working as a two-person team, we show up with a flexible plan, but always start by listening to what matters most to you. Some clients prefer to be hands-on, others let us take the lead — either way, we adapt to your style. Payment is made via Zelle or Cash at the end of the job. Our goal is to make your experience easy, efficient, and tailored to what works best for you.
