I capture natural moments with lifestyle sessions. I also provide all the digital images to customers so they can share and print as they would like. I am proud of the images I create and feel it is a wonderful outlet for my creativity. It is rewarding to have clients show off their photos and I love the relationships I develop.

We are head over heals for Jackelynn Powers! Jackelynn took our baby bump photos as well as our son's newborn and three-month photos, and we couldn't be happier with her personality, her ability to get the right shot, and her edited photos. My husband and I are generally not comfortable posing for photos, but her and Tom's laid-back approach to each session helped ease our giggly nervousness, and just hang out for a bit. They were also fantastic with our son. He was no happy camper for either session, but somehow they managed to capture some fantastic moments behind the camera that I didn't realize were happening right in front of my eyes! They truly captured our family's love and excitement, and they did so in quick sessions. As any pregnant lady, or new mom can attest, being snappy with these sessions was a wonderful bonus! AND she chose outdoor locations near us that have sentimental value to our family. I feel like she really went the extra mile. Book Jackie! You won't be disappointed!

Jackie was great with my kids. There was never a point when we had to "make" them smile - they were having a great time! And Jackie was just really good at making everyone feel comfortable about having their picture taken. My favorite picture that I have of me an my daughters is on that Jackie took. A++

I do online seminars and subscribe to photography magazines to keep up with trends and best practices to benefit my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always had a knack for creativity. I also know the importance of documenting life because it moves quickly and is unpredictable.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Lifestyle family and newborn sessions at the clients home or an outdoor location. I also do journalistic, lifestyle wedding photography.
