Dave did a variety of handyman projects in my condo. He is prompt, efficient and reasonable in price and I would definitely use him in the future. J AsherMar 16, 2019Northeast Residential's reply
Thank you J.
I would reccomend Northeast Residential again as I live out of State and they took care of my property. Thanks again.May 18, 2019VerifiedNortheast Residential's reply
Much appreciated Jesus.
I reached out to Dave for having two shower doors installed. Dave was super responsive, very helpful and showed up on time with his foreman Bob. Bob worked on our shower doors and again was very meticulous. Dave and his team are true professionals and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Dave and his team for any small/major work you need to do. Thank you Dave.Nov 14, 2017VerifiedNortheast Residential's reply
You're welcome. I appreciated the work.
Job entailed cleaning the brick on our fireplace. Dave went the extra step and cleaned the glass on our wood stove insert and repairing a broken piece of slate on our fireplace hearth. Dave was very responsive and reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to contact Dave for additional projects.Nov 2, 2015VerifiedNortheast Residential's reply
Beautiful Home and very nice people. A pleasure to work with.
Northeast really did a bang up a job on rehabbing of my rental property. After all of the woodwork, carpets, paint and cabinets he installed, I was able to add another $200 a month to the rent. He transformed my OK rental property into a truly classy place to live. Thank you Northest.Mar 14, 2019VerifiedNortheast Residential's reply
Thank you Josh
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Its simple. I add a reasonable expected hourly rate, to the cost of materials. For custom furniture and other highly detailed oriented jobs, I increase my hourly rate by a respectable margin. This is because the level of detail required can be expensive in unforeseeable materials. I focus on fair and reasonable profit in exchange for highly professional work and craftsmanship. Discounts occur as jobs increase in scope. It is always easier to reduce costs to the client when there are more aspects to the work. My pricing is a little on the low side, and given my experience level and the professional employees I have, that is a bargain.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I mostly listen at first. Everyone is different and has different levels of knowledge and has their own vision. Then I focus on being sure I know what the client needs and wants. After that I bend my talents toward ensuring that the client gets what they hoped for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been doing this kind of work for 40 years. There is always something new happening in construction, plumbing, electrical and masonry. I put a lot of care and effort into staying current with new concepts. With that said I am 3rd generation in this line of work (my father and Grandfather, and great grandfather before me). I have to learn every day to keep up with the challenges of my profession. Education in the age of information should be a continuous process for everyone.
