WOW I can't praise this company enough. Mike is the most personable contractor I have ever met. He prepared my estimate quickly,came quickly and explained completely. Within one week of a email to thumtack I had a new roof. I did not have a speck of a hint that any work had been done except my beautiful roof. Not a tire mark ,not a roofing nail nothing. He washed my skylights and even shingled my shed to match. Just a great experience . I loved them so much I got an estimate for my deck. If you need a home improvement job USE THIS COMPANY . What a great experience! Avoided a major project prpposed by another contractor who either was not competent (less likely) or was greedy (more likely) who only wanted a massive job. The problem with my leak was found quickly and dealt with in an affordable aesthetically pleasimg manner. No better endoresement than a head to head experience I had with the consultative approach.

Thank you Alicia and Jeff, I got a phone call from this customer and they sounded defeated and discussed. So instead of going home at the end of the day I drove 30 miles to help them with a leak issue that no one could find. I found it after one minute of looking. I see it this way. I provide a service to help my customers whether its a small repair or big repair. As a contractor I take my duties very serious and have to use all my experience of 30 years to diagnose a problem correctly for the desired outcome. At the end of the day it's about community! What I mean is, even though I am in business doesn't mean I have to help someone. But it's nice when someone takes stock in you and rolls up their sleeves to get it done. I initially put off replacing this roof for quite a while because I so dreaded having to deal with the issues as a single woman, negotiating an expensive project such as this one, by myself. (Ladies ...you know what I mean...) So I did my homework, I chose 3 companies and of the 3, MY HOME SOLUTIONS LLC, by far, literally put the other 2 to shame ...just on the initial meeting!!
Mike the owner, could not have been more perfect to alleviate my fears.
On our 1st meeting, he had everything that was needed to be assessed and written up ..already done! He walked around my home with me and explained everything that was going on with the roof and why. He was able to give me suggestions... ...recommendations. He went through the entire process, step by step with me. After his presentation, which was extremely thorough, I really had few questions. He had covered everything on my list. He gave me samples and the written contract to take home, which allowed me to take my time and go over it.
On the morning the job was started, I was there, (still a little nervous) Mike introduced me to all of his workers, who were also very nice, friendly and respectful. Mike and his workers had the entire roof completed, including the sky window replacement, the whole house power washed, and EVERYTHING cleaned up, all in one day!! At the end of the day, all that was left was my home with a beautiful new roof and looking sparkling clean!! And need I add.... I have not come across one single stray nail anywhere on my property....
I would highly recommend MY HOME SOLUTIONS to anyone.

Mike was great! He came over and completed a thorough roof inspection for me free of charge. Initially I thought a new roof was in order as there was no permit on file with the town and the roof was somewhat discolored. My took out his ladder and inspected all areas of the roof. He educated me on the cause of the discoloration and reassured me that at this point in time the roof does not need to be done. Although I didn’t need to hire him for this job I certainly will in the future!
