Sheila Clark taught with expertize and knowledge. She was organized and thorough on all subjects regarding CPR and life saving skills. She was not intimidated by questions but answered them completely. She gave plenty of time for student practice to give us confidence in our own skills. I was a nurse for 34 years and attended a CPR classes yearly, but this was by far the best class that I have ever attended. Sheila was outstanding and I would highly recommend her.
Was exactly what we needed.
I'm an excellent teacher & am comfortable working with seasoned professionals or those with no CPR/First Aid training. I take the time to ensure each student can master the skills they are taught.
I joined American Heart Association and gained CPR and first-aid training. I joined National Rifle Association and experienced pistol, rifle, and shotgun training. I am a retired US Army senior instructor.
We offer safety training and are meeting OSHA requirements; to include adult and pediatric CPR, AED and basic first aid.
My job is to ensure that I educate others properly because if not.. It could cost someone else their life. I make sure that my students are confident and well versed in the course material. It is not an easy breeze through class. We will go in depth with the class material and do a lot of practical skills practice.
I have been providing CPR/AED and first aid training for over 15 years in the Fairfield County, CT area. I am Red Cross and American Heart Association certified. I also teach the American Red Cross babysitter's training course for 11- to 15-year-old children.
We offer CPR training, first aid training and BBP. We train the AHA standards of the BLS training. We can come to you, or you can attend the training at our ambulance corp. If you come to our location it would be less costly.
I'm a certified CPR instructor, and I give CPR classes at the prison for other nurses in the prison system. We get refresher course at UCONN and get recertification. I charge $80 a class. I will do the course in my home or will go to a business up to 40 miles' travel time to teach a class.
Would you know what to do if the person next to you suddenly collapsed? Each year, approximately 424,000 people in the U.S. experience nontraumatic sudden cardiac arrest. That is approximately 1,000 people a day. This is roughly equivalent to the number of people who die from Alzheimers disease, assault with firearms, breast cancer, cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, diabetes, HIV, house fires, motor vehicle accidents, prostate cancer and suicides combined. In fact, the incidence of sudden cardiac death is nearly 10 times higher than the incidence of death from breast cancer. Whether or not the victim survives depends largely upon the immediate intervention of bystanders. Every minute that the victim does not receive CPR, his/her chance of survival decreases by approximately 10 percent. After 4 minutes without CPR, irreversible brain damage is almost guaranteed. Unfortunately, less than a third of victims of sudden cardiac arrest receives CPR from a bystander. The number of victims treated with an AED by a bystander is even less. Bystanders who did not provide assistance reported that were unsure of what to do. Here at Eastern Long Island First Aid, we're looking to change that! Eastern Long Island First Aid offers comprehensive solutions for all of your CPR and first aid needs. We specialize in CPR training, first aid training, AED sales, and AED management.
I offer heath care and non-healthcare CPR and AED training through the AHA. I give adult, child, and infant training, and I will travel for a large class.
I am an American Heart Association instructor willing to travel to your place of business to teach CPR and first aid for a group of people. I'm sorry but I do not do classes for individual people. If you do not have a group, you can go to the American Heart Association website and take an online class and then we can meet so I can validate your skills.
We are a CPR and safety training business. Classes are taught on-site by qualified trainers in accordance with the American Heart Association's (AHA) 2010 guidelines for emergency cardiac care (ECC).
We have 3 locations to choose from as a training center: Manhattan, Queens & Long Island. We provide you or your group with an exceptional certification program, along with new equipment from the American Heart Association.
