The job we had was to add a dormitory to one of our small house , after getting estimates from other contractors and architects was ridiculous, I got referred by a co-worker to use the thumbtack site, after explaining my situation, I got so many calls from different contractors , among all there was one call that come from Grievous architect , because I was turning around by other architectures , I was about to give up , but than Mr. Grievous called back Mr. Grievous this is a great a person to work withhe was respond right away, show up on time, give an estimate, don't talk you into more work than you need, do the job right and he was very pleasant through the whole process, from that on everything have been wonderful, his professional work was amazing he did it just right. I selected him and his business after getting two other estimates, one twice as much with far less detail in the estimate, the other just gave a verbal estimate. If you want good work without getting ripped off, just skip the scam artists out there and call Grievous architect. I highly recommend him. The work was done promptly and perfectly, and the price was very reasonable I'd definitely call him back for other work in the future!

The consultation and guidance from you was extremely helpful in planning the work for our basement (demolition for future renovation) and the foundation concerns. Your recommendations how to work with our contractors was extremely helpful. We were able to fix the foundation issue taking your advice which saved us from spending for unnecessary work to fix the problem. Ill add that your guidance with the pre-work on the basement was extremely helpful with decisions to be made for the work to be done. Your experience and knowledge saved me from pursuing what would have been costly decisions; and helped me to get the work done within cost effectively. Thank you so much.

His agreement was for 6 weeks. This is now week 14 and we are no closer to occupancy than we were on February 10 2014. We were mis-led to believe that he could obtain assembly approval for our space after we informed him of issues from the county. He eagerly promised that with him none of those issues will be a problem to resolve and gain approval for assembly use. We terminated his agreement once and he again promised to make it right. Still nothing but excuses and procrastination. This hire was a waste of time and money.

This project had a few significant code issues. The code issues could be resolved but it would take time to go through the county and avoid requesting a zoning change.. The client agreed to wait. But, after awhile, their funders did not want to wait and withdrew the funding. The client blamed me for taking to long, hence the bad review.
