We had so much fun learning from Alyssa! Her choreography was the perfect combination of easy to learn and impressive to watch. When we were struggling with something, she was so quick to troubleshoot with us and find an easy solution. It is awesome to feel this confident going into our first dance. Plus, it was a fun way to take a break from stressful wedding planning and just do something fun with my fiancé. I would highly recommend!

Alyssa is a great instructor. We are working on our first wedding dance with her. I was super nervous going in but she has made it very manageable and even fun! Highly recommended for weddings or any other special event.

I had some extra time in July while tending to some family business, so I decided to take salsa lessons. Alyssa was the first to respond to my query so I scheduled an intro lesson with her in Bethesda. She immediately put me at ease and offered several packages if I wanted to continue but without pressure to choose one or the other. I chose a package that met twice a week through the end of July and allowed time in between to practice. In the course of three weeks, I progressed from basic steps to turns and my confidence grew. In addition to dance instruction, Alyssa provided me with playlists for practice and videos of her demonstrating dance moves at the conclusion of every lesson. At our final lesson, she also provided me with notes describing the timing, technique and teamwork of the steps that she had taught. She also researched and found two dance studios close to where I live that offer salsa classes. As if that were not enough, she travelled to Alexandria for our final four lessons when I was forced to vacate my Bethesda rental. She was always on time and ready to repeat steps no matter how many times I asked. Alyssa has the right temperament for a dance teacher — patient, perceptive and caring. I feel that she has given me a good foundation in a very short time on which to have fun while improving my dance skills. I highly recommend her.

I had a great experience dancing with Alyssa. She was very helpful and patient in teaching me. As a beginner I was not confident in my dance skills but Alyssa was encouraging and helped me to gain that confidence. Highly recommended!

Alyssa is such a great dance instructor. She was incredibly patient and came up with a whole salsa choreography for our first dance in only 5 sessions. I had some experience salsa dancing but my husband had zero and the dance turned out so amazing all thanks to her.

    Our Introductory offer (eligible for new students only) starts at $50 for 1-2 students. We offer a la carte as well as discounted package pricing for additional lessons.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    ACE Group Fitness and LaBlast Ballroom Fitness certified, Dance Vision International Certified in American Rhythm, American Smooth, International Standard, and International Latin Ballroom dances.
