Thank you so much Dennis for DJing! Our clients had a great time at our Holiday Gala. Everything was so smooth and effortless and completely fun because of you. We had a lot of transitions throughout the night and you handled them all without and awkward break or moments. We've had DJs for past events who seemed more engrossed in what they wanted then what would be best for our event and our employees. This was not true of you, Dennis. You were so focused on making our Gala wonderful, memorable, and easy, and it was! You had a great attitude and were so helpful and nice to all of our employees. No matter how demanding we were you kept pace and did it all with a smile. The quality of sound was beyond excellent: it wasn't too loud or too quiet and there was never any dead space between songs (something that every Wedding DJ seems unable to accomplish!) Everything just flowed together so well. Even though our event was a while back I still here employees talking about amazing our DJ was. Thank you again for being so great and we are definitely bringing you back for any future events our company has.

Thanks so much to you and your partner (Lyle) for doing such a great job of providing all of the music for our daughter's wedding this past August. Every facet of your work was executed professionally and according to plan and you were able to adjust to slightly different time frames. Many of the guests commented on the excellent music and how lively it was. It seemed as if everyone wanted to get up on the dance floor - old and young alike. Thank you for helping out at the Rehearsal dinner as well. Both our daughter and her new husband were extremely pleased. You were delightful to work with and we are only too happy to recommend you and Sumo sounds for future events.

Dennis and crew are some of the best DJ's working anywhere. I believe that enough that I've not only recommended him to plenty of satisfied people (and I've probably attended a dozen weddings he's DJ'ed), but used him for my own wedding. The thing about Dennis is he's more than just the guy playing music or emceeing, though he's great at both. He's your reception coach. After hundreds of weddings he knows what makes or breaks a reception. He helped my wife an I plan out the order of events so we wouldn't break up the energy once things got going. He kept the dance floor packed and my friends have been talking about our wedding for months now. Sumo Sounds are the best of the best.

Prices are determined by type of event, hours of the event, location of the event, number of guests, and size of the light show required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone call or in-person meeting/consultation to customize client's needs. Our DJs do not play by a playlist. All mixes are created realtime customized to the crowd's energy and guest requests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always looking to find new ways to entertain your guests with new music, new lighting, and new audio equipment. Our DJ's are trained by the best club DJs in the area.
