- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get to know the customer as best as I can. It’s always good to have a personal connection with the people I photograph because it can illicit more comfortability.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a graphic designer by trade, which including having to study photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used my first DSLR in high school in photography class, and a film SLR in college. Eventually I decided to buy my own about 4 years ago as a hobby and fell in love with the power of photography. Taking a photo with an SLR or DSLR/Mirrorless is something other worldly. Even though I may have a fancy phone you will rarely ever see me use the camera on it.
