About
Hi! I am working as a Handyman in DC M-F and anywhere in the DMV on the weekends. I’ve worked on various jobs throughout my life such as Painting, Patching, installing lights, fixtures, building custom shelving, furniture, mounting TVs & punching bags and mirrors. Property management duties for a local property manager etc. I am continuously developing new skills and striving to be the best professional I can be. I will communicate clearly and honestly and will treat your house as if it were my own. And I will do the job the right way or I won’t do it at all.

He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to make sure my kids would be safe with the new furniture. Would recommend.

Trying to fool people out of money. Asked to changed the locks and fix garage disposal. Came and didn’t change the locks nor garage disposal. Then asked to be paid. You got to be kidding me. What planet do you live on.

Jo’s Handyman Services's reply
On New Year’s Eve, I responded to an urgent issue with an exterior door that would not lock. Even though it was a holiday, my priority was making sure the home could be secured for the night. We initially discussed installing a standard lock that evening and replacing the garbage disposal at a later date. Upon arrival, the customer decided on a smart programmable lock, which requires additional time for installation and setup and had not been discussed beforehand. Because of the added time required and it being NYE, I explained that it would be best scheduled for a return visit. In the meantime, I adjusted the strike plates so both the knob lock and deadbolt were fully functional, as neither was locking prior to the repair. I requested partial payment only for the work completed during this visit, which would have been necessary regardless of the new lock being installed, and planned to return the following day to complete the remaining work.
