My name is Roger Glass and Im the communications specialist for the Washington Teachers Union. In that capacity, I have hired Edward C. Jones to photograph numerous WTU events and activities. Edward has been given a wide range of WTU assignments, including school visits by the unions president, WTU training programs, membership meetings, social events and major conferences. He was also hired to take the official portrait of the unions president. Edward uses top quality cameras and lenses, and possesses an outstanding photographic sixth sense that typically results in him capturing the best of each and every situation and person. He follows up his WTU assignments by providing both low- and high-resolution images, enabling me to use these photos in a timely manner in the unions print and electronic publications, as well as on Facebook and other digital outlets. If necessary, he will enhance the images through the use of Photoshop and will occasionally suggest additional uses for the photos he takes for the WTU. Edward has proven to be dependable and efficient, and the quality of his work is consistently top notch. I will continue to regularly hire him for WTU assignments.

I worked with Ed on an outdoors yoga photoshoot in late August 2015. The lighting (time of day) and setting were Ed's idea - he certainly knows his stuff - and the results were fabulous. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Almost yearly, I attend the largest photography product show on the east coast - in New York City, called Photo Plus Expo (at the Jacob Javits Center). I have been going for nearly 20 years. The latest products by major companies like Nikon, Cannon, and Hasselblad....are presented, and there are numerous workshops and opportunities to interact with great photographers and product experts.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a commerical photographer
What types of customers have you worked with?
Events - especially receptions, dinners, weddings, academic photo work on college campuses; portraits studio, natural environment & lighting, and headshots; sports; advertising; and architectural.
