- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught many basic communication skills classes. These classes focus on the Total Communication Process: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing. Class discussions include such topics as how to establish rapport in a business or personal relationship, recognizing verbal and nonverbal cues, understanding open and closed communication patterns, developing written communication skills, i.e., note taking, becoming an active listener (reflection, summarization, clarification, paraphrasing, etc.), effective speaking in different public settings, presentation skills and discussions related to barriers to effective communication. In addition, I developed a six-step communication skills model that could be adapted to use in business settings (i.e, managers and supervisors).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have helped business professionals and educational leaders to achieve their speaking goals within short periods. My strategy for delivering presentations is very powerful and effective for inspiring workers as well as students to achieve outstanding results beyond their imagination.
