What do you love about your job?

I've been helping people all my life. I spent many years as a tennis professional with five students becoming national champions, and I then became a CEO of an international hospitality consulting firm. Since retirement, I began assisting people, not only with how to write a resume that appeals to people like me (decision makers), but also teaching them how to have an advantage when it comes to the interview process. I meet with each client, in person, so as to enable me to get a feel for how well they are capable of presenting themselves, and we go from there.

Who inspired you to start your own business?

I began assisting people with the career process quite by accident. Several friends came to me to ask for my assistance, which I provided. All had successful outcomes. One thing led to another, and I soon found myself presiding over a boutique career coaching business. Thumbtack has been an integral part of my success, as at least 90% of my clients have been a result of my presence on Thumbtack. I have a very wide clientele demographic, with clients ranging from a neuro-ophthamalogist to F-16 pilots, lawyers, and physicians. You name it! I very much enjoy hearing the success stories of my clients. It reminds me of my younger years, helping youngsters from all over the world be successful, not only on a tennis court but in life.
