He seems like a great guy. Story is very hard working. We came to a very agreeable agreement. I was added as additionally insured to the insurance and his license checked out. When his workers were coming out to set things up, they had an emergency, re-scheduled multiple times. Never showed up to multiple re-scheduled appointments. Not sure if they are going to come back but its been some time that I'm not going to hold my breath. He may do good work, I even called his references. But I wouldn't give this guy a deposit because him and his crew miss appointments and call over a week later to try and re-schedule, but never show up then either. He seemed to want to play everything by ear, what am I paying a GC for if they can't orchestrate?

I met with this client, and negotiated a very good price for his project, to build a roof deck on top of his property, the price was much lower than the average cost for this type of work, I tried to fit his budget within reason, as requested I even added him to my insurance policy, he checked my references, I guaranteed my work, my project manager spoke with him twice to set up an appointment to follow fine tune his request and to review the drawings to make sure we were both in agreement from A to Z. Even with that, This client was very skeptical about moving forward with his project and said that he was interviewing other contractors, which was fine, I felt as though he was not serious about moving forward due to many uncertainties on his part, he was not serious and was wasting my time trying to get a firm answer from him on moving forward, after many attempts to pin him down for signing the contract and moving forward, I felt as though he was not really interested, even after a very reasonable price for what he wanted done.

Lee offer me full renovation of my apt, floors, bathroom, doors, 29 new recessed lights, new paint, etc in 30 day max 45. For the first payment I was expecting the bathroom and electrical finished but I only got 85% of the demolition done and lost the rest of my fist payment.

There are two sides to every story, the client constantly changed his mind about what he wanted. There were many delays due to his ordering of incorrect materials for the job, most were special ordered items which took up to two weeks of delivery. This has happened at least twice. We had to wait for the availability of the newly ordered items before moving forward. The client is good at pointing fingers where there is obvious error on his part.

Competent, capable contracting team. Some stumbles and delays but overall completely acceptable.
