What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our first step is to have a conversation about your project and reserve any filming dates (with a 50% deposit). When possible, we offer a flat rate to deliver a successful project.
If we decide to move forward on a time and materials basis, here are our rates for new customers:
$695 - 8 hour filming day (includes me, camera and one mic)
$395 - 4 hour filming day
$350 - editing day
$90 - second camera (Sony 4K)
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
An experienced videographer should be able to ask the right questions. A great video is useless without great sound - ensure you've talked about the microphones! Even if it's a brief conversation, make sure to discuss the type of people who will be watching the video - and how they'll watch it.
