Introduction: Interfaith Marriages is a wedding officiant service based in Washington, DC. Dr. Mike Ghouse, owner, and the lead officiant is a member of the American Marriage Ministries specializing in marrying couples of different religions. Mike believes in curating a meaningful experience for all couples committed to one another. He is licensed in all 50 states of the United States and will travel to any destination. He has officiated over 200 weddings since 2009. We are dedicated to curating memorable nuptials that celebrate the love shared between two partners. Mike's process begins with a consultation where he can learn about the couple and their story, religious backgrounds, and vision for their ceremony. He is happy to incorporate special readings, blessings, or traditions into the nuptials or create something unique. Before the wedding day, the future spouses can finalize any details they want to include in their service. Services Offered Mike adopts an open approach to creating ceremonies by blending each partner's traditions, whether non-religious, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Bahai, or other traditions. The services include couples counseling to resolve any conflicts or disagreements, current or potential future conflicts, wedding arrangements, and planning. In the case of younger people and first-time marriages, we will be happy to talk with parents and guardians if needed to bring everyone on the same page. Let your wedding be a lifetime festive event for you and your family. Ghouse officiates religious, secular, and interfaith weddings in every combination with Atheists, Buddhists, Christian, Hindus, Jains, Jewish, Muslims, Sikhs, and others. Ghouse has also officiated many Muslim-Muslim weddings. Mike is deeply committed to Pluralism in Religion, Politics, Societies, Human rights, and religious freedom. He is the founder and president of the Center for Pluralism, Director at the World Muslim Congress, a think tank, and a wedding officiant at Interfaith Marriages. His new book American Muslim Agenda is available on Amazon, and "Standing up for others" and "Madame President" are coming soon. He is committed to building cohesive societies and offers pluralistic solutions to issues of the day. His mission is to open people’s hearts and minds toward fellow humans.

Dr Mike Ghouse has officiated several weddings that I have been a part of. His service, his values and the beauty he brings to any wedding is absolutely inspiring. Attending a wedding officiated by him truly reminds the beauty and the significance of marriage. Pluralism, tolerance and love for all faiths is one of the core values of my life, so his service becomes especially valuable. The world is blessed to have him and his service. I hold him in highest regard and recommend him to everyone.

Our most important vendor for our wedding was the officiant because we needed someone that could beautifully illustrate our interfaith love story. Dr. Mike Ghouse did just that! He seamlessly brought together our Jewish and Muslim faiths in a way our wedding guests were blown away by the wedding proceeding.

This was a great experience considering I am Christian and my husband is Muslim and no imam wanted to marry us! We found Dr. Mike through our wedding planner Phoriah Events and the rest is history! Dr. Mike had a couple of sessions with us, before the big day, and on the big day he was on time and he did great! I highly recommend him! Maria, Washington, DC
