YouTube is one of the greatest and easiest access tools to learning your way around the makeup industry. However, there are always books upon books to read about makeup, the human body, skincare, art history and things that you would never think tie Into something as simple as colors on a brush.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the artist you hire is CERTIFIED. Whether it be with licensing (esthetics, cosmetology Etc.) or anyone company certifications (sephora, MAC, makeup forever, etc.). Also, especially for wedding or big birthday bookings always make sure you are offered some type of contract, to ensure you get what you pay for, and that the artists gets paid for their work.
