Last Friday 10.30.15 was the first Line Dance Lessons for myself and friends. We found the studio easily and were welcomed by the owner Maria Jacobs. She made our lesson fun and productive. We actually experienced 8 dances and were able to easily follow Maria's lead. Everyone is anxious to return for Lesson #2 tomorrow night. We found the experience fun and definitely a good work out. Anyone looking to learn Line Dancing and have a good time too should come out to see Maria at Valley Forge Dance School.

Expert knowledge of the ISD technique and standards of performance. A teacher of teachers, past competition judge and qualifier of those wishing to judge. Dance teacher for the Lake Placid Olympic ice dancers. Wonderful dance performer took me to perform at various civic events and local dance studios. One of the most enriching and grounding dance experiences a student could have.

Herman is a fanstatic Dj\musician. He was very sensesitive to the bride and grooms needs. He provided dance lessons for the couple qs well as assisted my band during the ceremony. He provided us with mics and amps so my my band and I would not have to bring all our gear. All in all he was absolutely the best.

My fiance and I took dance lessons with Sandra Dee leading up to the our wedding. And can I tell you it was worth every penny. Sandra was patient with us (DANCE IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!) and she had fun with us! We not only gained some amazing dance moves but gained a friend in Sandra. I seriously can't recommend doing this enough.

We teach a variety of dance styles along with the history of them. We also teach the technicality of the moves and the proper way to move your body.

My work stands out more than the average dance teacher because I am skilled in more than one type of dance. I was trained as a classical ballet dancer since I was 8 years old. After high school I decided I wanted to pursue dance in college and went to Mason Gross School of the Arts as part of Rutgers University. There I widened my dance horizons drastically as I learned everything one needs to know about how to be a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. I was introduced to modern, African dance, jazz, choreography, and a number of other courses that teach you about the dance world past, present, and future. Since my training has been in multiple dance forms and I have a degree in dance, I am able to help my students with ANY questions they may have about what it takes to be successful. What also makes me stand out from the average teacher is that I currently work at a dance retail store, which furthered my knowledge of dance retail as I am now educated in the art of fitting pointe shoes. I am educated in deciding what shoe is best for the dancer and am knowledgeable in the many different brands and styles. I can help dancers choose what is best for their foot shape, strength, and comfort.

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons.
