FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The majority of my bookings are for engagements, proposals or weddings - with these bookings comes a flat rate that includes images specially sized for social media and small prints. I use a specialty program called ShootProof for all of my images - this allows my customers to review their images at their leasure. It is integrated through an AMAZING professional quality printer so you can get your images printed to the highest quality without any inconvenience. We do also allow the purchase of high quality downloads with a print release should a customer prefer to find their own printer!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love meeting our future brides! IF you are local I always love to meet you for a quick coffee (or wine) to chat about your awesome day - this lets us get to know each other a little more. If we can't meet we will have a phone call or Skype session so I can get more details. This also includes payment information, as my awesome system allows me to split up payments in pretty much any way you could possibly desire! Want to pay a little bit each day you get paid? No big deal! We just ask for 50% up to $500 as a deposit - the remainder we can split up as you see fit! I make note of these details and plan a date to circle back with you a few weeks before your wedding date to confirm arrival time and location and run through my plan for the day to make sure we are on the same page. You will then get a contract and invoice emailed to you that you can pay to confirm your date! Once your shoot has been completed I post a 2-5 image sneak peek within 72 hours to social media (Facebook and Instagram - make sure to follow us there!) and the remainder of images will be received within 4-6 weeks (for engagements, proposals or other non weddings) or up to 10 weeks for weddings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer most of my life - making the cross into part time photography in 2015 and full time in early 2019. Like many photographers my craft has been sculpted through years of trial and error and hard work! That said, I have and continue to take and audit many courses online and work with other photographers regularly to pick up new tips and tricks!
