Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I've been a photographer for the majority of my life shooting above and below the surface of our oceans. With each project or job my goal is to capture an image that fulfills my vision at the time. Hopefully I can fulfill my vision and the expectations of the customer and that is when it all comes together for both of us. I am always most comfortable with a camera in my hand and that is when I am happiest! Making a customer happy is a major reward for me.

I hired Julie Morgan Photo for a family photo shoot. She came to the Club Med resort in Port St. Lucie, FL where my family was staying. She was very professional and we enjoyed meeting her. She took some very good family pictures in many different settings at the resort in many different poses and we had fun taking the photos. She got the photos sent to us very quickly via email and on two CDs by mail. Her price was very inexpensive considering the amount of time she spent with us. She was willing to edit a few a the pictures for us at no additional cost, but we did not think editing them was necessary because they were good without editing. The only thing I wish we would have done differently was take a few pictures with all of us wearing our sunglasses. But I didn't think about it at the time.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Photography is a very personal thing for both the client and photographer. I do my best to find out exactly what the client hopes to achieve and do my best to go above and beyond to achieve that goal.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied fine art in university but began capturing images with a camera as a child. I have taken numerous university level photo classes, attended seminars and engaged in online classes and I still do. Education is ongoing in this technical age. I worked professionally as a photo pro at various dive resorts shooting my subjects underwater and topside. For many years I worked in the newspaper business as a photographer and photojournalist.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have worked at various resorts as the photo pro which required capturing all types of activities from scuba diving, festivals, weddings, portraits, real estate and nature photo and video.
