Ennio and his crew did a wonderful job installing our 20 ft curtains and ceiling fan! They were on time, prepared, and ready to work. They even didn't mind reinstalling two of the rod hooks (I still feel bad that I caused extra work), but it looks fantastic! Highly, highly recommend.
We recently moved to Florida and our new home needed a lot of TLC. Mike and his fantastic crew, Chris, Brian, and Matt, made our home beautiful! They painted a 3500 square foot interior which included 18 foot cathedral ceilings. The trim work and doors were expertly painted with high-gloss white and the walls were finished with a beautiful satin gloss. All A/C ceiling vents were removed, cleaned and painted before replacing -- again this was on 18 foot ceilings! They texture coated the walls on two large bedrooms, hallway, and bath with 10 foot ceilings, fixed the crown molding, installed shoe molding, and installed new ceiling fans in the bedrooms. This crew installed new vanities with sinks, lighting, bi-fold doors, hung mirrors, and new toilets in two bathrooms. They hung four chandeliers that required expert care and attention -- all beautiful!! They painted the outside pool patio ceiling, hung a new exterior ceiling fan and two outside pendant lights. I cannot recommend Mike and his crew at Putnam Painting enough! They were prompt to arrive at the worksite every morning and stayed until the required work was done at the end of the day. They were extremely conscientious in keeping the work site clean and were professional and courteous in our home. Their attention to detail and pride of work was excellent. I am so glad that I hired Mike and his crew at Putnam Painting and have no hesitation in giving them an OUTSTANDING review for a job well done! Thanks Mike, Chris, Brian, and Matt!
Repaired and textured bedroom ceiling very happy with service. Aristide. inc was very willing to work around my schedule
I read all the reviews for this company and of the 3 choices thumbtack sent me, selected this one. I'm usually a word-of-mouth client, so hesitant to contract through thumbtack. Frank visited our home to review the job with no strings attached. His manner was professional and his skill and knowledge obvious. The revised thumbtack quote was too high for our budget, so Frank offered to return for a second visit to take out extras from a basic painting job (i.e. exclude painting of chair rail, frames, doors & adding crown moulding). His revised quote allowed for 5 different colors for 8 areas so we discussed mixing and matching. He was patient to work through this and offered advice, such as which of the 4 bedroom walls would have the accent color; and which color would be better below the chair rail in the main living areas and which above it. We appreciated the time he spent to discuss the painting plan. It was a bonus that wall repair was included in the quote. Frank completed the work in 4.5 days; to us that was record time. He worked diligently and expertly. He would advise us each afternoon of the spaces he would work on the next day; this allowed me to plan which part of the home to occupy. He showed up at a similar early time each morning soon after sunrise and left before dusk each day. This schedule worked out well for us. His guarantee of beautiful paint, smooth finish, two coats, all rang true. We were so pleased that by the 4th paint day we contracted with Frank to lay the special order hardwood flooring which arrived during the painting job on day 3. So he adjusted his schedule to then work 4.5 additional days in a row to lay the flooring in the same rooms he had just completed painting. Again, he followed a careful plan for laying out the cork base, then laying out the wood pieces, matching up color differences, separating out scratched pieces to cut for small spaces so the scratched areas became scrap, before starting the actual laying. He set up two outdoor sawing stations on each end of the home. We took pictures of both jobs as they were being completed, work in progress, and he did not mind any interruption. Along the way over these 9 days he assisted with small tasks such as moving the refrigerator for cleaning behind, discussing the type of kitchen cabinet knobs to install, and took down two track lights and one bathroom light at our request to apply the ceiling paint under those fixtures. He removed about 70 outlet covers of all types: phone, plug, switches, data ports, to paint behind, but unfortunately for us, left the task of replacing the new ones we purchased to move on to the flooring. We are so pleased with the quality of the workmanship and his professional manner that we are now asking for a quote for exterior painting. This was our first experience contracting through an electronic gateway; it worked out very well for us. We will recommend Frank to anyone who is in the market. Frank is welcome to attach photos of the finished project.
We had a great experience using John. We hired him to make some repairs to areas leaking in our bathroom. He regrouted and sealed our shower and tub, and even replaced a damaged tile. He also completed some drywall repairs to our damaged kitchen ceiling which was leaking from the damaged areas in the bathroom. He was quick and very flexible with our schedules ,and even came back a couple of extra days to make sure the job was completed properly. He also did some extra work for us when asked at a reasonable price. We will definitely be calling him again for future handyman services needed around the house.
Daniel was able to pinpoint a wiring issue and fix it while installing 5 ceiling fans and light fixture. His communication was excellent. He worked clean and precisely. We will definitely be using him again.
They took down popcorn ceiling and put up new one. They came when they said they would, did a beautiful job, and left the room clean. I would recommend them highly. And very nice guys.
Hired them to remove popcorn sealing, add texture, paint sealing and walls and do floors. Removing lights while doing sealing and putting them back and cleaning all mass was included. They are almost 4 weeks behind the schedule. There are a lot of little things they forgot to finish. Didn't properly cleaned after themself. I with my wife had to clean floors, almost every corner had a little bit grout left. All doors and windows were covered with texture from the sealing and walls and they were supposed to clean it, we couldn't wait no longer and we just cleaned ourself. They didn't put back vent covers and chandelier in dining room and there are still baseboards missing in dining room and closets. And today when I asked the guy if he could put new chandelier that I bought instead of an old one, he said: "$65!" I answered to that with: "Just put the old one back". Not reliable, not punctuated
Dave & Paul did work in our master bedroom, removing the ceiling tiles that were there and redoing the drywall. They added a coffered ceiling which is beautiful. We love our new ceiling! Only thing keeping them from a 5-star rating is the amount of dust cleanup we had to do after the job.
I was definitely very satisfied with the service I received from REStar Construction. I had a leak in my ceiling from the water line connected to my refrigerator. It took a while for me to notice it and several more days to find it. By the time VJ came to evaluate the problem everything was soaking wet. It was a bit of a challenge because I wanted to save the wall paper on one side of the wall that had been affected. It was a Sunday evening but VJ ( the owner of the company) and his wife came immediately after completing another Job. He was attentive, compassionate and was adamant about working with me to honor my requests. He was professional, studied the problem and came to a quick diagnosis and solution for the problem. I was able to save my wall and any issues regarding mold or damaged were addressed to my satisfaction. Brandy, a member of the REStar team monitored the progress over the couple of days it took to complete the job. She too was awesome, professional and attentive to detail. Last but not lease the cost was very reasonable. Overall a great company!! Knowledgeable and competent. I highly recommend them!! Thank you REStar!!
I can't begin to say enough great things about Mabel and her company. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish! Her professionalism, pricing, timely response, and clear communication were all excellent. Above all else, her work on our new beautifully refinished countertops, as well as the blinds was impeccable! Once all the work was completed, the area was left neat and clean, which has not been our experience in the past with most contractors. She has a wonderful and kind personality, and is one of our top go-to pros from here on out. You will have made a great decision that you won't regret in hiring this pro!
Great guy and runs a solid honest business. Caleb was clean, hard working, and very easy to talk to as well. I had him remove my laundry closet that was located in the dining room and relocate it into my sun room. He did all the demo, drywall repair, texture, paint, tile and baseboards where it was removed from. Then, he built from scratch the new closet - framing, drywall, texture, paint, door casings, etc. He re-used whatever he could, like the bi-fold doors that were on the old closet, to save me money. Even moved and hooked up my washer and dryer which wasn't part of the deal. I had my own plumber and electrician, but Caleb said he could do those things as well, and even fixed something that the plummer did wrong. Caleb is my go to handyman now for whatever I need done.
Tony and his team were friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. They completed the jobs quickly and did great work. They replaced 1/2 our fence, did some electrical, and ceiling work. We would definitely hire them again.
Jorge did a fantastic job on our outdoor ceiling project. He was very prompt in not only coming out to quote the project but starting the work as well. I would highly recommend Jorge.
I've had "a lot" of experience with contractors; in real estate rental housing, as well as in business. John and his crew were professional, on-time, and provided excellent work at a very fair price. I had some ceiling drywall replaced, knockdown plaster work, painting, door/frame replacement, and stucco repairs via McIntyre. John is also very personable and communicates well. I will hire him again.
After getting several estimates to sod my property with saint Augustine grass, Rob Works estimate for material and labor was very reasonable. The work was performed in a very professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend you get an estimate from this contractor for any type of landscaping work or handyman work.
Pete was fantastic! He was very easy to talk to and worked around my schedule to install our backsplash, which looks wonderful. Very fair price and I would definately use Pete again. I highly recommend Pete for any contractor or handyman work you might need done around your house.
I had my floor and ceilings done through Turn to Stone and the final product was amazing. However, the reason I give such a low rating is the break down in communication while dealing with Barbara. She was a lot of help and great with ideas; however, when I told her about certain things I wanted done, she over looked the small details. The result was in me spending additional funds to have to do more work because she didn't contact me immediately when the problems arouse. Instead she contacted me after the work was done and it was not what I wanted. Sadly, this resulted in my being unsatisfied with her performance in dealing with a customer. I do believe her overlooking the small details maybe due to her trying to juggle many jobs at once, but I am not positive on that. Either way, I feel as a professional she could've made a better attempt at dealing with each customer accordingly since home renovations run in the thousands. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend her or their services if she already has many projects going on.
Jorge is a talented, dependable and trusting guy. He has done a few different jobs for me, including, painting, texture, patching walls/ceilings and soffit removal. He does his work at a very very good price. Overall, he is just a great guy that I trust to come into my home while I am at work. If a job wasnt done right the first time, he will make sure to come back (even if its several weeks later) to fix it. The only thing I feel he could improve on is cleanliness. One example to this: The last thing I had him do for me was scrape popcorn off of the ceiling and re-texture it with knockdown. He made sure to put several layers of protection on the ground and cabinets, but the doors/frames werent covered. So, some of the the door frames that I previously paid him to paint white now have some of the compound on them that was sprayed onto the ceiling. I believe I can easily scrape this off, but it could have been prevented. Definitely, hire this man. He is a jack of all trades and does so a reasonable rate.
I contacted Mel Osborne Drywall, Inc. on two separate occasions. The first was after my kitchen remodel. The electrician left a huge hole in my laundry room. Mel patched and fixed the wall like brand new! The second was after having a leak in the upstairs bathroom. The plumber cut a large hole in the ceiling. It has a knockdown texture that is hard to match. Mel is a bit of a perfectionist and came back after it dried and wasn't satisfied. ( I couldn't tell) but he didn't leave until it was perfect! We sold the house in January with no hint of an issue on the ceiling. He was on time and kept the work area very clean. I would call him again and recommend him to EVERYONE!
My customers are thrilled with my attention to detail and willingness to statisfy there request in a timely manor.
