- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the age of 16 I got a summer job helping with all phases of home improvement with a company in New York. I felt in love with the tools and the workmanship. 20 years later I still love what I do.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with general contractors and was hired as a sub contractor, worked with commercial building space. I have dealt with tenants and owners. Worked with single home owners and new home owner. People moving to Florida from other states and countries.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What they need done. Be specific. Ask questions. Make sure your contractor is available and will focus on your project until is finish. How long will it take ? What are your working hours ? What material will you be using ? Are some material included in the estimate ? Pretty much write down any concerns and your contractor should have no problem answering all of your questions.
