I had a very noisy squeaky staircase. Every step cracked which was annoying especially in the dark quiet night. Denis removed the drywall ceiling in a closet underneath the stairs to inspect the risers. He determined what the problem was and reinforced each step with new 2x4 supports. It worked perfectly well.
