Introduction: I am a private teacher who has spots open for potential students. I have been teaching for a few years, and have recently attained a degree from FAU in commercial music. I have relocated to Palm Beach Gardens from further south, so I am looking for a completely new set of students. I am well-versed in music theory; at FAU I skipped a good portion of their theory classes after I tested out of them. I have also gone to Bak MSOA, Dreyfoos, and have been in All-State events for several years when I was in middle and high school, including the reading choir (the hardest to get into) three out of my four years, so I know how to prepare for and what is required for those auditions.
My rates and basic information regarding lessons:
1. $20 for half an hour, $30 for an hour. I can host, or come to my students. However, if the drive is more than 10 miles, $5 will be added on to the lesson cost, and I will drive no more than 15 miles from where I'm located.
2. All piano students must have a keyboard of some kind to practice on.
3. Lessons can be at any time interval that is convenient for you, but regular weekly or bi-weekly lessons are recommended.
4. I do NOT take any students under the age of six years old.
5. Students will be expected to practice regularly, and students who don't will be dropped.
