- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Drop-in Visit Dogs (30 min) feed + play - $25 first dog, $10 add'l dog Drop-in Visits for Cats - $15 first cat, $5 add'l cat Dog Walking (30 min) - $25 first dog, $15 add'l dog Dog Daycare (my home) - $40 per dog, $60 per puppy, per day Dog Boarding in my Home (24 hours) - $50 per dog, $100 per puppy
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial email or phone call to determine availability and whether or not we are a good fit for each other and discuss costs. If we decide to move forward, then a meet and greet is scheduled for pets and people to meet each other and become familiar with one another. If the requested service would be conducted at the pet owner's home - dog walking or drop in visits for dogs or cats - I come to you, so you can provide instructions regarding your pet's care show me around and introduce me to your pet on his / her turf. If the requested service would be conducted in my home - dog daycare or boarding - then you and the dogs come to me, so you can see where your dogs will be staying and your pups can get a "lay of the land" in your comforting presence and meet my little dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had animals most of my life. I grew up on 5 acres in west Lake Worth on the edge of the Everglades and began pet sitting dogs, horses, and other farm animals as a teenager. We had dogs, cats, chickens, and horses and I loved every minute of my childhood. I’ve rarely been without a dog in my 52 years on this planet.
