FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Family First Home Service, we work directly with your homeowner’s insurance whenever possible, which often means little to no out-of-pocket cost to you for covered damages. Our experienced team is skilled in navigating the insurance process to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. For customers who choose not to go through insurance or for services not covered, we also offer competitive cash bids with transparent pricing and no hidden fees. Our goal is to provide high-quality work at fair and honest rates, whether through insurance or direct payment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Family First Home Service, we begin every project with a free in-home inspection to assess the damage and identify the root cause of the issue. During this visit, our experienced team will walk you through the findings, explain the recommended solutions, and outline the full remediation process. We also take the time to review all available payment options, including working directly with your insurance provider or offering competitive cash estimates when needed. Our goal is to make the process as easy and transparent as possible, while ensuring your home is restored properly and professionally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Family First Home Service, we are state-licensed mold assessors and remediators, certified through the State of Florida. This means we meet all regulatory requirements for training, experience, and continuing education in mold inspection and remediation. In addition, we hold certifications from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification)—a globally recognized authority in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and cleaning services. These credentials reflect our commitment to industry-leading standards, safety, and professionalism in every job we take on.
