Ryan W. says, "Working with Claudia’s team on my large project was a mostly seamless process from start to finish. I received a fair quote the day after requesting it and work began 2 days after that. I liked that this company only required 20% down on day 1 and the final payment on the last day of work. Demo of all tile in both bathrooms and living areas, installation of vinyl flooring, and installation of new tile in both bathrooms was completed. Claudia estimated the project would take 3 weeks and the lead installer Lindomar made sure to work efficiently to stay within the timeframe. Lindomar was a pleasure to work with daily, as he took pride in his work. He showed up everyday and worked thoroughly, cleaning up as he went along each day. If he was not pleased with how a portion of the installation was going, he took it upon himself to fix it until it was correct. When I noticed something I was not totally happy with, he took my feedback very well and made the adjustments to my liking. The finished product is two bathrooms and vinyl flooring through my entire house that I am proud of! After previously having very negative experiences with contractors, this team was a breath of fresh air. My only major critiques are in regards to the mess I am left with and the some of the items quoted that differed in the completed project. First, before demo began, the team did not adequately cover my belongings so they were filthy after demo. I am left with cleaning every item and surface of my home because of the thick layer of dust on everything. I recommend either you covering your belongings yourself or insisting that the team cover everything before starting (they were very eager to start demo). Regarding other concerns during demo, I was not informed of two things that would cost me more money for them to do. It was not until 2 days before the end of the project that I was told I owed more than originally quoted and only once I reached out to confirm the final payment amount. There were other things like baseboard and door trim removal that I did for the team because they were damaging them during demo. I also did the carpet removal in two rooms myself to help speed up the process because we were under a time crunch. The installation of corner round was on the initial quote to cover the baseboards damaged in the process but I ultimately did not want them to install that (which I mentioned a few times before the material was brought to my house anyway). I did not like how that looked and I did not want them installing and covering up damaged baseboards. When I addressed these issues with Claudia as the project was finishing, asking for a adjustment to the quote since I contributed a lot of personal work to the team and saved them time (and since there was damage to baseboards and door trim that I had to spend time repairing), she was not willing to be very flexible. She took off the up-charge for the hidden costs I was not made aware of but was unwilling to negotiate for all the additional things I contributed. All this to say, I would definitely recommend this company for tile and flooring work as I believe you will get great quality work and decent pricing. My house is on its way to perfection thanks to them! I would just make sure that all terms of the contract are thoroughly understood by both parties before, during, and after the project. And do your best to keep communication lines open throughout. *This was an active whole-house renovation. Bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets are pending installation and drywall repairs are being made. Some before pictures were also included."See more
