About this pro
Jim and his team were wonderful to work with and did a great job on this project.I had popcorn ceilings removed and the entire home interior painted, new baseboards throughout and all new interior doors. I am so pleased with how my home looks. I will be calling them in the future for additional projects.Mar 30, 2018VerifiedJim P.'s reply

Our experience was amazing and I’m pretty sure that our project was more work than expected, not to mention the dreary Florida weather made it more difficult. We had our door revamped-a facelift if you will. The door refurbish was started by another company who proved to be less than reliable, the opposite of this company. I’d recommend them to any who needs handy work of any kind. Great service!Mar 13, 2018VerifiedJim P.'s reply

Jim built a room divider and hung two new bedroom doors that needed milling and even cutting down the size by 1/8th of an inch. He was punctual and exacting in his work, meticulous in his craft. I was so impressed with his work that we have a major project planned for the fall for him to build an entire storage wall and window seat in the master bedroom.Apr 10, 2017VerifiedJim P.'s reply
Thanks. It was a pleasure working with you
Jim did such an excellent job for us..the faucet replacement was a much more complicated job due to the age of the sink than we thought, and Jim was very knowledgeable and skilled. He thoroughly explained the work required and took the extra time to do the job right. We were so impressed that we have already hired him to do another job for us.Apr 3, 2017VerifiedJim P.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Prices are based on the scope of the work. Handy man jobs are generally $40.00 per hour. Jobs that require more than one person will be determined when viewing the project. If it is a job larger than $1,000.00 then progress payments will be set up. If it is less than $1,000.00 then half before we start and half upon completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After a customer has contacted me a time and day to set up an estimate is the next step. We will then discuss the scope of the project and determine if there are any permits that are needed. If drawings are needed they can be done by us or sometimes we may need to get an architect. After all terms and the scope of the work is agreed upon both parties. A contract will be drawn up and signed by both the contractor and the customer
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to college in IL. and took many courses in business and in the trades. I have been in business for 21 years but I have been in the trades for 26 years. I also have a Residential Contractor license for Pinellas County FL.
