Denise is one of the best personal trainers I know. She is highly knowledgeable when it comes to anatomy and is excellent at helping clients recover from injuries with corrective exercises. When working out with Denise, I know I have her undivided attention, and I love all the nutrition advice she shares during our sessions. She has a ton of energy and enthusiasm about health and wellness, and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a fun fitness trainer!May 4, 2016Free Spirit Fitness & Nutrition's reply

Excellent trainer! I learned something new and got a great work out every session. She listened to what I wanted to work on and helped me work through a lot of back and neck pain I was experiencing. Definitely recommend!!!Aug 20, 2019Verified
Denise is very flexible with scheduling, which I greatly appreciate. I had my free comprehensive fitness assessment, which was very helpful in my determining whether I wanted to go forward with the training. I have decided to start with twice a week for 3 months. I'm really looking forward to working with Denise; I can tell that she really knows her stuff and is very fun to hang with to boot!Feb 5, 2019VerifiedFree Spirit Fitness & Nutrition's reply
Thanks Ann...our training sessions are always fun!
Denise has been great to work with. She has been very creative in bringing equipment into my little condo and creating a wide variety of physical challenges. She is adept at adapting exercises to your personal fitness level, taking into account any limitations you might have.Feb 8, 2019VerifiedFree Spirit Fitness & Nutrition's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer several pricing options depending on the number of training sessions and length of training contract. I offer private and semi-private training, and I will work with clients to find a package that fits their budget. Committing to your long term health is important, so the longer you commit to training, the greater the discount...:-)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a free fitness consultation, health assessment and complimentary workout to help potential clients determine if my fitness/nutrition philosophy and training style is a good match to help them meet their goals. Once a client commits, I put together a customized workout for our sessions together along with a nutrition plan and a basic strength/cardio workout they can do on their own. I re-assess every six weeks and provide a written summary of their fitness results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I also have corrective exercise, fitness nutrition and senior fitness specializations through NASM as well as a BA in Marketing. In addition to training, I have been a baseball, volleyball and racquetball coach. I take continuing education classes every month, attend workshops and stay current on the latest health and wellness trends. I love learning and sharing my knowledge with clients. I also volunteer in a variety of fitness and sport activities and recently received my life coaching certificate.
