FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't give prices over the phone, and here's why. Termite work is priced on the square footage under your roof, and that includes the garage and porch. A crawl space or a big attic can move it too. I can't know any of that until I'm standing in your house. Once I look, I'll give you an exact number. It's the same price anywhere in Pinellas County, so your zip code doesn't change it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You call, and we set up a time for me to come out and look. I go through the house, find out what you've actually got, and tell you straight what it needs. Sometimes that's not us. If your house really needs to be tented, I'll tell you that and send you to a good fumigation company. If tentless is the right call, we treat the whole house, not just the spot where you found the droppings, and you stay home while we do it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in pest control since 1986. I'm a Florida certified operator for both general pest control and wood-destroying organisms, which is the license that covers termites. I used to hold fumigation and lawn certifications too, but I let them go because I don't use them. Most of what I know about borate treatment I learned by doing it, including the failures, and fixing them.
