I've gone to Susan many times in the past to alter pants and design decorative pillows. She's certainly a professional and is very personable :). She will ensure that she meets expectations and always does a great job. I highly recommend anyone to take their sewing needs to her!

I came to Susan with the basic outline of an idea and some sub par files to work with. She took everything and brought my idea to life. She is tremendous to work with, very communicative and excellent at understanding what I was going for. She kept me informed start to finish on any issues that came up, offered great solutions and at the end of it all, I had exactly what I was looking for. I cant wait to work with her again.

Susan was AWESOME!!! Very professional, very communicate, always on time, bilingual (was better for me that she speaks Spanish) so I could explain her with detail what I need it to do. She made a great job, so fast (actually before the time I wanted) and specially FARE PRICE! Definitely I will hire her again. If you need do alterations, she is correct person to go. That is. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat fee for most clothing alterations and require a 50% deposit for bigger projects that require customization.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers should give us a call to set up an appointment time for fitting consultation or discussing custom projects.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Largely self-taught, our head seamstress has 15 years of experience outside of Susan Tailors and most recently, she was recruited as a seamstress for a textile company that serves the hospitality industry. She has a ton of experience with draperies, home decor and one-of-a-kind projects.
