About GN Baxter, CT Clown and Justinother

GN Baxter is a former circus clown available for events. He has entertained as a circus performer since the late '70s. And, has since retired. I am making my talents available to the public. I do not do face painting or balloon animals. (as in doing such can only entertain one person at a time) I do comedy magic. Clown stunts and other circus related acts.

GN Baxter, as Justin Other, has been singing and playing since 1976. He is an oldies and country singer who has recorded 3 CDs and has toured with some famous and not-so-famous artists. I plan on producing a new CD soon. At present I am making myself available for Clubs, Private parties and social events. *note depending on your requirements. Some material could be considered inappropriate for children.

He just moved back to Florida after an 8-year tour.

Picnics, parties, fairs, and trade show formats are available.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I have been in both the circus (as a clown) in 1975 and A combined roadie, Stage tech, and opening act for such artists as Dr. Hook, The Tokens and Three Dog Night since 1985. I was part of TNN's ON Stage in the early 90's. Working with (at the time) Up- coming artists like Billy Ray Cyrus, Diamond Rio and Sugarland. I am retired from both. I was also an on-air radio announcer in the Orlando area from 2003 to 2005 I will do parties, events and clubs as either character. Or as a solo musician or clown. Be advised some music could be inappropriate for children. Please be specific when booking.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. I have recently been playing private and public functions in the Tampa area. As well as, colleges and Fairs in the north-west. Most recently and rewardingly, I both clowned and played at Dade City's Wild Things Zoo. For fund-raisers and private functions. Working side-by-side with WILD exotic animals is an experience of a life-time. I recently moved back to Kissimmee ,Fl. and will still travel.
If you live in or plan to visit the Pasco County area. Go to www.dadecity' and arrange a private tour. Not only will you be entertained. But, you'll help endangered species survive.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Please look at the age groups carefully. There are professionals who don't care. But, it is essential the toys, facepaint, balloons and patter (during shows) is suitable for the age group.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I honestly would like to see States require any entertainer who wears make-up or a costume to get a special identification with picture of them in and out of costume. To wear in interviews and at events. In the 80s there was times I wanted to change careers, because of BAD press. Due to people committing illegal acts in make-up and costume.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I'm retired. I'm not in it for the money. I want people to know taht the craft is still here and available.
