FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the quarter hour. This ensures my clients that they are only getting charged for time that work is actually being produced, and time is not being rounded up to the nearest hour for only a portion of an hours work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting is in person and sets the groundwork for the whole project. We discuss their project goals, preferences, expectations and communication styles. When clients are comfortable, we tend to limit our interactions to online video chats, calls, or emails. This limits in-person or site meetings and saves my clients money and time. It also allows my clients to review information or options on their own schedule (of course if it is time-sensitive to move forward, I communicate that clearly to avoid delaying the project progress).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 15 years of experience in the field of architecture and design. Having worked at architecture firms in Maryland and New York, I decided to start my own company.
