Our training class are prepared and build based on a 24 years experience working with dogs. We work on a 38,000 s.f safe and gated field. Dogs are amazing creature that deserve to be treated well. They are really smart animals. Their only goal in life is to learn how they can please you and become your best friend. You have to admit that it is really hard to find a human like that. My job is to highlight and show you how you can help them to achieve that goal.

for the first 15 minutes i was amazed at hoe dan had control of my dog i know for sure Dan is going to have my dog a straight A student by the time our training is over

Dan was amazing with my 2 girls. I have 2 new puppies who are approx 5 months. They leaned so much in the 5 sessions we had. I have 2 large breed dogs so it scared me to train 2 dogs at once but Dan taught me the techniques I needed. My girls are so good now! Can't wait to start group class in a few weeks.

My SATO (street dog from Puerto Rico) rescue, named Allie came to us trembling in fear of dogs, people and everything else. I did not know if she could take any kind of dog class. It took us 9 months just to get her out the front door and a few houses down the street, tail still between her legs and looking around in every direction. My friend Lynn and I noticed this American Idog class at a nearby park, and after inquiring, decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, Dan Ratay immediately noticed Allie's behavior and knew what to do. With incredible patience and knowledge of dog behaviour Allie has excelled to the point that she now is in Dan's American Idog show performing obedience and agility. I am thrilled beyond words to see Allie proudly enjoying her new found abilities. We cannot thank Dan enough for helping Allie to come out of her shell. Strangers need only be patient and calm to greet her now and she improves with every class. We are life long students of Dan Ratay and feel that God led us to the right trainer; as we know it could have been disastrous for Allie's well being if the trainer did not have the same skills as Dan Ratay.

Dan is an exceptionally good instructor. He teaches all levels of obedience from basic training to advanced agility classes. He can also perform the Canine Good Citizen test. He keeps all of his classes interesting by introducing something new each class to keep it fun not just for the dog, but its owner as well. My dog can now do things I never thought even possible. You simply cannot find a better instructor anywhere.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Group classes available from $119 Lure coursing $15 per even unlimited amount of run. Private one hour session are from $100 to $120 per hour depending on location. For boarding and training I take a maximum of 20 selected dogs per year. Rates are competitive and are changing depending on distance and season. Do an evaluation of the situation to understand the root of the problem and be able to establish a protocol of exercise to correct it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Judge for the World Canine Musical Freestyle Organization. Pro member of American Association of professional dog trainers. American Kennel club tester for the CGC test. Been around dogs now for more than 24 years.
