We hired Lerner and Pooch to help train our new male Bichon Frise puppy. As cute as he is, our Bichon was nipping our children, going potty all over the house, grazing his food and pulling his leash during walks. Romans structured dog training program helped transform our puppy into a contributing member of the family who understands that we are his leaders. He now follows training commands and crate commands, eats on command, is much better with potty time, and is great on walks. Overall, he has developed good dog etiquette. Its a process raising a well-balanced pet with an active family and Roman provided us with the tools to succeed for his lifetime. We would highly recommend Lerner and Pooch!

Roman was absolutely amazing. 2024 was a horrible year. My dad and I lost the love of our lives; my beloved mother. But we werent the only ones who suffered tremendous loss. Our 3 year old Maltese, Honey, also felt the impacts of mom no longer being with us, and as Roman pointed out from the beginning, Honey felt the pressure to take over as the Alpha of our shrinking pack. She was peeing all over the house, and it got to the point where dad was seriously considering rehoming our beloved little Honey. After careful research and speaking to Roman, we were confident in his ability to get Honey to be the best girl she can be. In a short 6 weeks, Honey relearned how to function in our family. She is a lot less anxious, and most importantly no longer pees where shes not supposed to. When you hire Roman to help your doggie, 20% of the experience is training the dog, and 80% of the experience is training you on how to command respect and obedience from your dog. Just like in golf, you wont have a good shot, if youre not willing to follow through on your swing. YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK. Take it seriously, because if you dont, neither will your dog. Roman provides lesson plans in a book for review, as well as homework assignments to reinforce the lessons. I am so impressed with Honeys turn around. Roman, thank you so much for not only helping our dog, but also for being a friend who never ignored our emotions, heightened of course because of moms passing, in training our baby. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone, especially those who have experienced major life changes that have an impact on your fur baby.
