Introduction: Pack Academy began when our missions aligned for training well-mannered companions by empowering owners with the knowledge to raise their dogs. Our specialty is more than puppy raising and behavior modification; it is about educating owners on their dogs' learning process and extinguishing outdated methods of training. We know that the true foundation of training starts with trust, play, and leadership. From modifying unwanted behaviors and educating owners, to house-breaking and potty-training puppies, our hands are always full. And when we're not actively engaging with our furry friends, our minds are busy researching new techniques that span from holistic animal health (where we've learned to incorporate flower essences, essential oils, homeopathic remedies, and massages into our routines) all the way to the psychology behind animal behavior. *limited space available as we only take on a small group of dogs at a time to ensure high quality attention and training is given*

I have an 11 month bichon poodle who no matter what I did would continue having accidents in the house, would jump on my five-year-old child, and would engage in biting. Pack Academy had my dog for a two week boarded training session, and when I say that the dog that came back was a completely different dog that is an understatement. The dog came back completely housebroken, listens to commands, is not jumping, or scratching on my child, and is generally not chewing on things that she is not supposed to. My dog now knows various commands, is attentive, and understands that she cannot do whatever she pleases. If you are considering hiring them, please do not hesitate. The level of professionalism, responsiveness, care, and attention that this company gives is one of the best that I have ever seen. Thank you for giving me a better and more obedient dog. I will forever be thankful and will certainly be coming back for additional advanced training.

Jeanine was amazing! Her response to my questions and concerns regarding the training for my fur babies was absolutely incredible. She was patient and very detailed with each one. The tools she gave me have completely made a difference and I can’t thank her enough. I absolutely recommend her for any dog training. You will not be disappointed!!

“What a good boy!” Those words are music to any dog owner’s ears and thanks to Jeannine I get that quite a bit about my now 11-month-old Bernedoodle Bodhi. Jeannine was literally there from day 1 when I brought him home. Even though I’ve had dogs before I had forgotten about puppyhood and anyway so much has changed in the world of dog training and raising. Jeannine is not only a superb dog behaviorist but she knows how to work with the humans too - even those like me who had a million questions and was so worried I was doing everything wrong. One of the best things about Jeannine is that she responds to every question in a timely manner and that was so helpful in those early puppy days. We also did the board and training with her and that was incredible. We got videos that I still refer to today and it was clear he had a great time and felt loved. And he came home with new great behaviors such as staying calmly in his crate. Jeannine gives you great tools and if you are willing to put in some consistent work you will see the rewards. Bodhi is an amazing dog who comes on trips with us and to restaurants. He’s a good leash walker too. He’s still a puppy so it’s nice to know that I can go to Jeannine as new behaviors come up. And I never tire of hearing people say he’s such a good dog. 😊

Jeanine has been extremely responsive and professional throughout all her interactions with us and our doggos. She really knows her stuff and is passionate about training. We did the two week board and train and my puppy came back fully potty trained and understanding commands. Our older dog was also crate trained, and previously suffered from anxiety. It’s been great enlisting her services and I would 100% recommend.

All of our pricing is available to view on our website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with scheduling a phone call to have a brief conversation about your dog. We can determine what will be the best route for training your puppy/dog. Private sessions can be scheduled during the phone call. Board and Train Packages are booked once the owner makes the deposit for the training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our love for animals and passion for helping people bridge the gap between human communication and dog behavior grew into a successful life path. Brianna completed an apprenticeship with a professional service dog trainer, is an AKC Evaluator and studies Fear and Aggression. Jeannine has a B.A. in Psychology, her knowledge in behavioral sciences is the perfect match for behavioral modification techniques.
