We brought home an eighteen month old pointer mix from the shelter who was heart worm positive. Kelce was terrible on the leash and the techniques we used to leash train other dogs did not work on him. He pulled incessantly and lunged at every dog, squirrel, lizard or leaf that moved. As he would soon begin his heart worm treatment which required him to be calm and quiet for two months, we were quickly running out of time to get him under control. Overactivity during this treatment time could result in his death, so we began to look for some professional help. We engaged Shultz K-9 Enforcement, Inc for training. We were only able to get 9 training sessions in before Kelce’s treatment began. Shultz gave us all the techniques and tools to manage his treatment period in just a few sessions and ALWAYS was responsive to our questions and requests. Kelce is much better on his walks and remains calm when engaging with the world. Additionally, we had tools to calm him down in the home. We’re happy to say Kelce made it through the treatment period. We are not exaggerating when we say that Shultz K-9 Enforcement, Inc saved his life. Now that Kelce is through with treatment, he will be getting further training with Shultz K-9.

We brought home a year-old heartworm positive pointer mix from the shelter six months ago. Kelce soon displayed serious behavior problems and this out-of-control behavior became a safety concern for us. The techniques we used in the past did not work. Our training through a pet store was ineffective. In fact, his behavior was so embarrassing and disruptive, we discontinued the training after three lessons out of respect for others in the class. We engaged Shultz K-9 Enforcement for training. We opted for individual sessions and were amazed at how profound and quick the improvements were. After only nine sessions, we had to pause for two months for the heartworm treatment. But just those nine sessions gave us the tools to control Kelce and keep him calm thru his heartworm treatment. When we resumed training, we continued the individual sessions to complete advanced obedience and service dog training. Our friends and neighbors can hardly believe Kelce is the same dog they saw a few months ago. Yesterday, I was walking with Kelce off leash in our neighborhood and a couple said “what a well-behaved dog he is!” I proudly thanked them and said “you should have seen him a few months ago.” They said “We know. We helped you corral him when he got loose and was running wild.” I remembered the incident. What a transformation it has been! Today, after very happy and easy walks, Kelce came with us shopping at Home Depot, Aldi’s and Publix with a lunch at a restaurant. He was perfect. At lunch we looked down at him resting under the table quietly and said “did you ever think this would be possible?” Shultz K-9 made this wonderful day possible. As surprising as the training result is, we are even more amazed how the training has deepened Kelce’s bond with us and how much happier he seems. We joke that he behaves better off leash because he’s worried about losing us! We give our highest recommendation to Shultz K-9 in general and our trainer Paul in particular. Everyone – management, office support, trainers – maintained the highest professionalism and delivered exceptional customer service. We couldn’t be happier with our results.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fritz Shultz Monfiston started his journey in 2010 as a regular client in Miami, FL enrolling his German Shepherd pup named K9 SJ into classes for obedience with GK9S Inc. As K9 SJ grew, he went through the different levels of obedience and started Personal Protection Training in 2012 where he was proven proficient in apprehension. The following year in mid-2013 One Evening after sundown, Fritz received a phone call from a neighbor regarding someone trying to make a forced entry on the property and heard someone discharging a weapon, when Fritz got to the property it was K9 SJ that got killed. Apparently, K9 SJ had put up a fight with the bad guys and one of them had a weapon and shot K9 SJ where he died on the scene. That was a significant impact on Fritz because it was devastating and had a major impact on his life. But the main thing that Fritz was thinking “What if I never got the dog trained???? The bad guys would have successfully made it onto the property and hurt someone. K9 SJ did exactly what he was trained for. To protect. Fritz notified the trainer training K9 SJ about the incident and found out that the trainer E. Gonzalez was a Retired K9 Sergeant. So instead of Fritz getting another dog trained he signed up for a Cynology Course with GK9S Inc. and became a Full Time Kennel Worker for GK9S Inc. where he started The BiTeLiFe Movement and was the voice behind it before it was copyrighted In 2015 Fritz was Certified as a Behaviorist, Certified in Personal Protection, Certified in Scent Detection, and recognized as a Decoy, Agitator, received a Certification as a Professional Cynologist (Dog Trainer): Someone who’s specialized in the care and training of ALL dog breeds also MASTERED the relevant literature of K9. Shultz K9 Enforcement Inc. was founded in 2015 by Fritz and became the business voice of South Florida.
